- For Puree
- 1/2 kg tomato
- 2 onion
- 12-15 cloves garlic
- 10 gm ginger
- 20-25 Karri patta
- 3-4 green chillies
- For Cooking
- as required Oil
- 50 gm butter
- 100 gm ghee
- 2 tea spoon sugar or Gur
- 2 Lemon juice
- to taste Salt
- 1 tea spoon jeera
- 2 teaspoon hing
- 3 table spoon dhaniya powder
- 3 table spoon red chilli powder
- 2 table spoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tea spoon dalchini powder
Instructions to make to make Undhiyu
- For muthiya
1)Mix all the ingredients with Lukewarm water - Make small pakoda or muthiya and fry in vegetable oil
- For oondhiyo
1)Cut all the vegetables in one inch size(carrot, beans,florets etc) - Make coarse puree of all the ingredients except Curry patta
- Take oil, puree ghee in cooker put jeera, hing and chopped onion saute till golden brown.
- Put puree and all masala in it, mix it well till it leaves oil and ghee
- Add all vegetables and muthiya and mix well
- Give one whistle on full flame and slow down the flame for 2-3 minutes
- After cooling Garnish it with chopped green coriander leaves and put butter on it with sesame seeds
- Serve hot with raita and Puri, paranthe
